Ok so I waited in safeways parking lot in langley for about ten minutes but the owner never showed. Beautiful old FJ40 split hood, originalish interior except for the brushed alum. Or stainless rollbar, oh did I mention it had a Z06 vette. engine. I took a few pics but gotta blank out the plate but hopefully the owner chimes in first. Just beautiful.

His name is Neil. He lives in Cloverdale. A very nice 40 for sure. Matt has his info I think also.
did it have chrome hinges also ? (hood,door)
I don't know if he is even on mud.

I don't think I have ever seen his 40 out on the road. I have only ever seen it in his garage.

He came to a club meeting once at Steve's new shop. He is a long-ago member of the 4WDABC, back when they sponsored hill climbs and off-road racing in the 70's IIRC. He brought his photo album to the meeting, great stuff.

He laid a good patch of rubber down Broadway when he left the meeting. (if this is the same guy).

Yeah, his truck is a beauty for sure.
