Who has OME lift with 35" tires?

speaking of offsets and backspace.... could someone try to explain these terms to me as simply as possible? I'm gonna upgrade to new wheels someday and maybe bigger tires. I have Bridgestone AT 285/70/R17 with the OME lift and have no rub at all. Are there any negative aspects of doing the Frame chop mod? Does it have any impact on anything?

Negative aspects? None that I am aware of. There IS something unnatural about cutting out a piece of your frame, though. I think as long as you cover up the hole you made, you should be fine as frog hair.

I've got the 886s in the front and 895s in the rear. ARB/winch in the front. Seems pretty level to me. That's mine in the rear.

I could be mistaken but if you look at the body mount before the chop you will notice a hole towards the end. I think that was for the prado mount and toyota added another hole farther inboard for the fj. The end that you cut off in the chop is called a cantilever. as long as you cap the end back up that you cut you will NEVER have a problem as far as structural integrity is concerened. I have seen some people do the chop and leave the end open and that is a big no no. the end cap is what hepls keep the steel from twisting.
