Who has a National Luna Dual Battery setup in their LC? I've seen that DMC has one, anyone else? I'm thinking about going that way and am looking for feedback, i.e. problems, glitches, things you'd change or is it the bomb-diggity or whatever?

Bomb diggity. I didn't like the idea of having to manually do everything, and the NL is auto. I only like to mess with the important stuff, like the cd player, the transfer case, and the diff lock.

nice write up, It looks like you have the hotwire close to the motor, was that only during install or did you tuck it under the cross support? Have you had any problems since you've installed?

I have the National Luna. Very easy install and so far it works great.

It is run right along the top of the fan shroud and wrapped in conduit. No problems other than my second battery pooping out in less than a year.
Great system, and Paul at Equipt is great to deal with.

what caused the second battery to go?
Not sure...it was just the cheap 75.00 Marine Deep Cycle.
I think it is just one of those things...it had a 12 month unlimited warranty, so it was swapped for free.
I'm running the NL setup. Paul is great from Equipt.Out. I have yet to try it with dual winches, which is the next step in a few weeks
