If ever there's a time for Folks to step up to the plate and help out ... it's the crunch time of the last few days prior to the gig.

Thanks to Butch and Deb Baker for makin' a supply run to Sam's over the weekend while I was in NY.

And a HUGE thanks to Josh for spendin' the whole day with me today ... and tomorrow ... tryin' to organize s*** and pack up.

We're headed over to get the ice cooler and a hun'erd bags of ice first thang. Then it's off to town to get the keys to the camp and a very sizeable grocery run. Gonna try to shuttle ev'rythang over to the camp tomorrow so come Thursday we can just sit back and drink beer waitin' for our guests to arrive.

:flamingo:

Our truck is half packed, so if we left right now, I gess we'd be goin off half-cocked. I tried to talk Tina into it, but it looks like midday Friday continues to be our ETA.

I'm bringing along some smashball raquets and balls to further test WT hand-eye coordination. Somehow, I think fly swatters would be more appropriate!

And for the driver's bag, I decided on something of a prophylactic nature, seein as we don't need no more accidents!

Kowboy, you have PM!

Damn! I hate I'm gonna miss this!

Today was a good day.

Y'all ain't gonna believe this s***, but Josh was at The 3X's at 0700 this mornin' so we could drive half-way to friggin' Clayton to fetch the ice cooler and a hun'erd bags of ice.

Then Debbie joined us and we headed to town. Got the Keys to the Kingdom. Got me some small bills at the bank to exchange for y'alls big bills. Picked up The Old Man's monolithic smoker. Got 3 buggies full of grub for 4 hun'erd bucks. :grinpimp:

Got all the above delivered to Camp ... plus another grill and another smoker.

Big-ass reefer and freezer work great in the main buildin' ... and so does the A/C. :bounce2::bounce:

Gonna ease Lil' Pete and The Presidential Suite over in the mornin' and start settin' up and sortin' out stuff.

I'll unlock all the cabins and get the A/C's goin'.

Y'all drive safe ... I'll leave the light on for ya. :grinpimp:

:flamingo:

Roger and I should be leaving around 7:30 in the morning, and its 700 miles or so, so we should be there by 7p with no issues...

See ya'll soon

Todd

Another guitar player!:bounce::bounce:

Most Excellent!

Susan and I arrived in Albuquerque yesterday around 2pm. Got some sleep and some dinner. Headed out this morning soon as I gets off this here 'puter.

Stoppin' in Dallas to hook up with Charles and drop off some stuff we're haulin for him and then headed to camp.

Everyone drive safe and we're lookin forward to seeing ya'll soon!

Chris:cool:

Sorry 'bout the last minute bail out. I got put on call at the last minute yesterday, and I'm getting ready to make a service call to an idiot customer. I'm really bummed I couldn't make it out to see yall folks. :frown:

Kowboy, if'n it's alright with you, I'll catch up with you at the next run with some cash for the shirts and Reunion fee thing.

Anyway, I hope yall have a blast, and drink a cold one for me.:beer:

Had a ball, thanks to Kowboy and all who put this together. We'll be staying longer next year. Great food from the Baker boys and congrats to Butch for winning the BBQ cookoff and for Being the Cook at the cruiser crawl next year. Can't wait till the redneck gig in October, see ya'll then. Later Bryan

it was a great event folks!

I really like this one. Flew thursday nite to DFW, cousin Loui picked me up there and went to that huge town of our dear President.

Like I said and I confirmed, you blink and you miss the town. ...and sure we did!

Never got to see down town because it's a lil' town and we came the opposite way from the directions from kowboy, must've been 9:30 ish. (well that's thanks to Loui and his GPS, Sorry sir! I agreed w/ Roger "your directions were right" and the GPS suck!)

kind of funny but it takes me a while to get into relax mode. Friday was hot day, the event of the day migrating from one tree shade to another one. Obviously there was drinking involved

Saturday was all business. series of skill event in which cousin loui and I did not do to good.

it was fun to see all the games and everybody into the games.

I like this event. Cousin Loui and I left arond 5:00am this morning, drop me off at DFW at 7:45am took my flight at 9:30 am and made it home AT 11:00AM

THANKS TO OUR PRESIDENT, VP & BUTCH FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL TIME & FUN and everyone else involved.

Hey Domek,

I don't understand why you would be complaining about the heat. It should be much cooler than where you're from. Isn't Brownsville, TX the same as Northern Mexico?

Charle

Karen and I had a wonderful time. The games were great, food was awesome and lots of great conversatin...

I'm happy to report that the Jeep's electronics are fully functional. I pulled the carpet and drain plugs and busted out the shop vac... She's good as new. :bounce:

Thanks everyone for a great time. Special thanks to Kowboy and the Baker's for the organizin and grubage.

Sherry and I had a great time also. Sure appreciate all the hard work that went in to putting this thing on for us! I still feel guilty leaving before all the clean-up was done....

and to the Bakers - the BBQ cook-off was fantastic! I'll be watching much closer next time I get an oppirtunity! Thanks!

Mark and Todd - thanks for the fine entertainment too!

Sticky - I'm still not too sure about your little show Sat night...:D

I am not complaining at all sir! the heat was bad.

I could 've done like my cousin Loui did, he done take a 5 hrs siesta inside the freezing cabing we were in but then I would not have participated.

The difference between here and there as far as the heat goes. it is the humidity.

Down here the humidity is bad, but then again, we get a light brezze too.

OK, what did we miss? or do I even want to know?

No f'n way to 'splain what went on, the rain came down which moved the show inside.........
Stickly had all of us 'bout pissin ourselves laughing, then Josh sang several songs which are not for general consumption.....he has a great voice....
Mark and Todd were awesome on the guitars, we all sang it was real nice.
Butch

Sounds like it was a good thing I got the girls out of there when I did!!!
