I got my WKOR sliders back from the power coater yesterday and installed them last night on my 4Runner. Minor cussing involved but that's pretty normal for me. The passenger side front mount was a pain because it took forever to get the top nut started on the u bolt. There's very little room for fingers in that location. Other than that, the passenger side was easy. The driver side had hard brake lines and a gas tank in the way so it takes longer to get the u bolts in place. There are brake lines that have to be popped out of their plastic holders at the middle and rear slider mounts on the driver side and then the u bolts can be worked into place. But once the u bolt are in place, just slide the slider into position and put it on the u bolts.
On every nut except for the passenger front top nut I used a 19mm deep socket for the top nut and my 19mm gear wrench for the bottoms. Just alternate tightening top and bottom nuts after you have the 2 sides in the same position. The rear of both my sliders are just a smidgen forward of the wheel well and this is dictated by the gas tank position. The driver side middle mount won't go back any further because of it.
After I had the sliders on I put some short pieces of plastic tubing around the brake lines by the rear mount as the lines are close to rubbing the u bolts there.
I am curious to see how my wife likes them. If you don't step on them exiting the truck, your leg will rub on the sliders getting out. I am anticipating some feedback on that from her...
