White FJ60 in Honey Brook

Wonder if one of our club members bought a white 82 FJ60 in Honey Brook. Said to need an engine. Was on Facebook marketplace. I was headed to look at it Friday when my back went out!

I saw that one. It looked real clean for only 5K. Did the owner specify why it “needed a motor”? It wasn’t clear if it was missing, or just needed attenton.

I talked to him. He believes the engine is seized but I think this information is from the former owner. It has been resprayed which always scares me.

Told me the PO ran it low on oil and had a rod knock. It sold Sunday afternoon.
