My parents just placed a deposit for an allocated Premium package Land Cruiser with their dealer; it's set to arrive in a few weeks. One of the options it has is the $1200 all-terrain tire upgrade, yet there are no details on that package. Does anyone know the size, make, or model of those tires? I am assuming they are 18" wheels? I am just trying to get some answers for my folks. Thanks for the help.

That's not a Toyota package, so must be a dealer thing. Could be anything.
Premium comes with 18" wheels, but a lot of premiums also get the 20" wheel package. For $1200 the dealer probably isn't doing new wheels or the package would be like $5k.
Seems like a lot of the southern dealers put Ridge Grapplers on everything.

Edit: If the truck is that close to arrival, the dealer should be able to give then a copy of the window sticker and you can see if it has the 20" wheels and maybe what the AT tire package is.

No, it's 100% a factory option.

Hmm interesting. But it is a regional thing (GST?) not a national Toyota thing, which is why I didn’t know about it I guess.
Put in a Utah or Colorado zip code and it’s not on there. I had to put in a Texas zip and there it was.
I’m curious now. Let us know what they are when you find out.

It's very possible that it's a Gulf States Toyota thing, you know how the different regions add different port-installed accessories. I am just curious what size and model they are; there's quite a range of tires in the A/T segment that range from H/T with an A/T name to some that rival the Hybrid segment.

Gulf State Toyota really needs to be dismantled...such a total monopoly in this region.

None of the regions will disappear if Toyota doesn't take back ownership of its presence here in the states. I don't know what the original agreement looked like back in the 60's, but it might not be possible for that to ever happen the way things are written.

Well, the LC arrived at the dealer today, and it appears that the AT tire upgrade includes Nitto Ridge Grapplers. They are picking it up later this week, so I'll get more info at that time.

I see you got your answer but yea, it’s one of the Gulf States add-ons and it’s been Nitto Ridge Grapplers on all of the 250’s I’ve seen. Anyhow I really just wanted to comment to say Gulf States Toyota sucks!

I purchased all five of my Yokohama Geolander AT XDs (made in Japan) from discount tire for $1,250 installed. They paid me $250 for the OEM 245's.
