I am currently running 285/70R17 (RW rims, no spacers) and I'm planning to go to 295/70R17 with the spacers.

I'm totally stymied on the tire selection. I may just end up with another set of Coopers.

Been looking into tires as well. I’ll tell you what I’ve tried and where I’m leaning.
Have:
BFG KO2s 275/70R18 E—good, but overrated imho, though cool looking!

Continental TerrainContact A/T 275/60R20—Excellent on-road manners and good off-road. This a perfect daily driver for those who still want to maintain some occasional trail capability. Wider than spec (11.2 vs 10.8 and rubbing my LX’s UCA, which is why I’m here learning about spacers.)

Nokian Hakka R3 SUV—hands down the best winter tire EVER.

So, now I’m looking to replace my BFGs.
Criterion are a more aggressive A/T or R/T tire for my off-road adventures. So much has changed in tires over the last 3-4 years, I’m only looking at the newest releases. From what I’ve gathered on these forums and other reviews, I’ve narrowed it to Nitto Ridge Grapplers, Falken Wildpeak AT3W, and General Grabber ATX... probably in that order.

Hope that helps and good luck!

I hope this isn’t a dumb question; when you guys run spacers, do you run them all 4 wheels? Or just up front?

Not a dumb question.
Not a dumb w tho, because with an IFS front and solid axle in the rear, bigger lifts do things to the front that it doesn’t do to the rear.

Some trucks have wonky tracks front to back like the weird 70 series. Plus...on IFS fronts, if people over-lift in front (or at full droop) the track narrows as the fronts extend downward.

But I think generally, most do all four

What kind of stuff do you want your tires to help you deal with?
Anything in particular?

I figured I would just post this for a reference. The front passenger has a 1.25 spidertrax spacer and the rest of the tires do not have any spacers.
