I've read 4crawler's rear window write-up...this isn't listed there, unfortunately.
My rear window works great from the switch in the cab, but does not work at all from the keyed switch on the tailgate. Upon removing the tailgate cover piece in order to gain access, I saw that the 3 wires which go from the harness to the 3 terminals on the switch (lock cylinder) had been corroded through over time.
I've spliced new wire in, but after trying all the possible combinations, I'm still not able to get the rear switch to work.
There are 3 terminals on the cylinder/switch, labeled "1, 2, and 3."
There are 3 wires to connect: Solid blue, blue w/ white stripe, blue w/ black stripe.
Can anyone tell me which wire goes to which terminal? I'd like to make sure I have these connected correctly so that I can at least rule that out as the problem.
Also, any hidden reason why the interior switch would work great, but the rear switch not at all? Are they dependent on separate relays, or does the rear switch look for a safety check that the front switch does not? I've double-checked to make sure all the wires are plugged in, and even disassembled the lock cylinder/switch and cleaned the contacts.
Thanks!

I just hope that solves the problem!
