I have a 75 watt I picked up at Wal Mart a few years ago.. ran my P2 laptop fine, but my P4 laptop (which is HUGE, and has a 17" wide screen) doesn't even acknowledge that it's plugged in. Definitely go for 200w+ if you have any kind of power.
And if you REALLY want some juice, get a decent APC UPS and stick it in the back. Spend $150-200 and run a laptop, a Foreman Grill, or whatever all weekend.
