I have replaced the clutch slave cylinder and flex hose; they were the originals (30+ yrs old). The slave cylinder weeping thru the actuating shaft and the flex hose cracked and was seeping.
After bleeding the system the clutch pedal will fully stroke and will start actuating the slave cylinder 2” into the pedal pushing which is correct, but after a few hours of use the pedal becomes stiffer with less actuating stroke. I have bled the system thoroughly several times and the problem returns.
My belief is that the clutch master cylinder internal O rings are bypassing which is why I am looking at purchasing a new clutch master cylinder.
I have looked up the part on ToyoDIY chassis # PZJ75-0007086 and have come up with a couple Cylinder Assy, Clutch Master 31401-60050 and 31410-60430. What does CLB mean and is that the one I need to order ?
I am not sure which one I need to purchase; can anyone shed some light on which one to order ?
