I completely agree. I do not need a top of the line battery. Looking for a best bang for the buck replacement.

Here's what I've found...

Duracell 27F from samsclub is $79
Costco does not have a size 27
Duracell 34M AGM from samsclub is $119 (seems like a great deal and it can fit in the oem tray with a spacer?)
Duracell 31 AGM from samsclub is $179
Northstar x2Power 27F is $329

seems like it's down to the offerings from samsclub...

Dimensional info. I think 27F is the largest battery that fits in the standard tray. When comparing, remember that the Toyota battery polarity is reversed (hence the F).

^That's probably the way I would do it. Straight forward, minimal complexity, and bang for the buck for more capacity.

If you go with anything but a 27F, pay attention to the post locations and whether or not you'll need extensions for the cables or new cable ends (especially on the + side). That can be more challenging than the physical fit of the battery.

Slee battery terminal extensions are one answer

Agreed!

It’s either a 27F or 31

The 27F is a pretty big battery. That x2power northstar at batteries plus is very nice, but at $329, it’s a bit too much $$$

Now to look for a simple group 31 tray
