Isn't this the same Miller's that used to be located downtown and was called Miller's Downtown? If it is the same one, it was on Capitol for a while then moved to the corner of Pearl and West.

Weidmann's in Meridian.

Yep I think it's the same one.

I am going to be in San Antonio from Sun night to Wed morn. Any ideas on places to eat? I will have a 4 and 8 year old in tow and we will be staying in downtown river walk area. Thanks.

We took the girls there for a few days this summer and ate at the Rainforest Cafe on the river walk one night. The place totally sucked, but the girls loved it. I'll pass along this little tip I received from Nolen while we were out there:

"Get off the river walk!!!!!"

I've got no good food recommendations as we did not heed this advice.

I'm gonna say that this new gig is gonna make you fat.

^.....and make me create a "reason" to visit memphrica

Blue Star Brewing. Excellent food and in-house craft beers. Family friendly, short walk from the Riverwalk through a historic district.

If you're out driving around, Cappy's in Alamo Heights is excellent. Interesting old neighborhood too.

And don't forget to take your kids to the SA Zoo.

Thanks! Going to the Zoo in an hour. Sea World and Six Flags are closed this week and we have been telling kids about both for months. I feel like Clark Griswald sometimes.
