I forgot to take a picture before I unbolted this but i'm pretty sure it goes to one of these locations. Is it the one on the manifold, or the one on the engine mount ?

Almost positive it's the second picture. Intake manifold is for the trans dipstick. Actually the third pic. Second pic of your options.

The consequences of getting this one wrong are pretty minimal.
Question would become: where would you bolt the engine brace that actually goes where the bolt is in picture 2? It would be tough to fit anywhere else.

If the engine brace wasn't bolted there, then it would be ok to put there.

I would assume the bolt would be long enough to capture the ground terminal between the stay and the manifold. Not saying it would seem right, but it'd work. Or you'd get to that point and realize you should relocate the ground somewhere else.

Fortunately somebody had already removed my engine brace previous to my purchasing the vehicle. One less thing to worry about I guess :meh:

I'm not too keen on putting a major ground strap under a brace for NVH for the engine.
Why? The fastener isn't an NVH isolator
