Or go to Camel 4x4 and order a set of the Aussie Ironman shocks....

Chunked a tire on the FJC in URE and hit something on the road that dented a rim and put a hole in the spare. Hopefully the new KM2's will be in before then. Otherwise, we'll be bringing the 4Runner. :)

I'm out. I won't bore you with the details, but let's just say that it isn't as easy to buy a new vehicle as I thought.

Even with no trade-in and cash in hand. There's a lot of crap out there that people aren't up front about.

Looks like it will be just a couple of us again...

That is okay, makes the trails less crowded...the camping less congested....and keeps the whining sound down below that of the mosquitoes! :D :D

David or David, have either of you contacted the members that don't come on the forum here or contacted any of the NEWLY PAID members that nobody has met yet to see if they want to come with us?

No, I have not - Benke can send an email to the group right?

I posted details on Facebook when I updated the events and Brewster confirmed there also.

I think you saw this on ONSC but I'm in. Missed the apple somehow last time. :D

Me and my friend Corey will be coming up Sat. Morning. We probably won't be camping. When will y'all be meeting at the outpost to go on the trails? Or should we try to find the campsite and meet you there? Also what is the quickest way to get up there? I went 1 on the way up last time but proinv brought us back a quicker way. I can't remember how we went. Was it through downtown Bville? See y'all Sat.

we USUALLY plan on departing OUTPOST at 9:00am but it never happens. I think if you were there by 8:45am to get your pass, buy some drinks or some snacks...that you would be there plenty early.

Well guys I am out this weekend. Have to Save my money because at my new house that I have been working on had a pipe break in the slab. Water is leaking from my drain line and ruined the hard wood floors I put down. So extra money is gone. Maybe next time

I hate it when that happens!!!

Wow that sucks.

That's the only reason why I hate slabs. If ever had to build a house again on a slab I would have to pony up to run DI drain in the slab and all the water lines overhead. I would rather replace drywall than jackhammer another slab up.

I think I am coming, I might even bring the 3 yr old, I just need to get back to work and make sure the shop didn't burn down while I was on leave.

I'll be shooting for 9 am on sat. at the outpost. We'll have a blue 40 on 37s and a stock od green 40. (going to take the stock 40 out for the first time after its sat for the last 15yrs...lol, so we'll be taking it easy)

How bad does the mud get out there? I just had a tire fixed that wouldn't hold air and low and behold it had mud in between the tire and rim. The mud came from our last Durhamtown trip. So did about 5000 bucks worth of fixes so needless to say I am not a mud loving guy. The weather looks like i may be wet for the next few days too.

The mud in Uwharrie is NOTHING like Durhamtown. You can 'usually' get around any really muddy parts of the trail. :)

Lets hope so, the old lady will kill me if I break the truck again
