Wheeling around Port Alberni

I know that some of you are from further up the island. Is there much wheeling further up the Island around Port Alberni and the surounding area? It's getting hard to find many areas on the South end of the island and I was wondering if prospects were any better further North

And much more Random Galiano Island?

well from what I've found if you go far enough north it opens up more... problem is you start to get into area that we don't know well and would require some exploring/mapping on our part... I know alot of my friends go 4x4ing around courtenay area but its getting more and more gated there two. When I was up by gold river a couple of years ago almost nothing had a gate...

theres lots south of Pt Alberni around Mt. Aerosmith etc. you go north and East over to Court and Campbell river and the whole area is strathcona park so no wheelin there.
