If memory serves me correct, I did about 55 ft/lbs on my last repack

On old bearings with a fresh repack, I typically hit 50-60 ft lbs to get the proper breakaway.

with adjusting bolt torqued to 36 ft-lb, and lock nut torqued to 47, I got 12lb of break preload...my guts currently only allow me to get that much...let's see...
