What's this? (Under rear PS interior body panel)

I removed the body panel from the PS side of my cargo area so I could plumb some 2-0 AWG wire up into cabin, and I saw this big what box. What is it?

I removed the body panel from the PS side of my cargo area so I could plumb some 2-0 AWG wire up into cabin, and I saw this big what box. What is it?

My guess: rear heater because the opening at the bottom left sits under a grill in the body panel. That's gonna make it hard to pull wire into those cubbies!

Thanks in advance for confirmation or better information.

Rear AC unit. Heater is under the driver's seat.

Great time to clean out the inner quarter panels and coat with woolwax or similar. Blow out all the dirt and debris first... and coat the lower rear body compartment as well. It looks like you have a good amount of dirt and debris there as well...

Yep I used 3M cavity wax, great stuff.
