I'm on my second set of Cooper ST Maxx. They have tough sidewalls and a fairly aggressive tread which works well in the desert.
 
ahh man, I haven't seen my famous jumping video in awhile. Thanks dude!! I guess ill take your tips and go for the best price I can find with roadside insurance.
