I have been out of the game awhile and am helping my son look for his first 80. Looking at this rig and noticed the plugged line by the water pump. So my question is, what is missing. Truck runs perfectly (1993 on the east coast) as it should but I know enough that a screw in an emissions line is a red flag at inspection. Thanks to everyone on the list and I am excited to get my hands dirty after a long hiatus as I help my son get into the MUD Life!

Don’t waste your time pair system gets deleted by most. You will be just fine with out it unless emissions requirements. Like California or Colorado I believe?

I have one sitting around if you need one. Looks like the O2 sensors have been moved to the exhaust manifolds so you might wanna check if your exhaust still has the holes pre and post cat for the sensors to go back in if you decide to return to stock.

If you're worried about the visual of that screw, Toyota sells vacuum caps that would make that capped line look factory. Unless you get an inspector that knows the intricacies of 93-94 land cruisers, you should be fine. Toyota ditched the Pair system in 1995 and the 95-97 80s do fine without it...
