I’d love to buy it, but I’m scared. Even if they gave it to me for free… The question is whether it can be saved, and at what cost.
The thing is, there are none of these where I live, and one shows up maybe once every few years. This is a 2001 HD-FTE automatic with 230,000 km on the clock. It’s been sitting since 2017 in the factory yard; before that it was driven by the company’s director, and now it’s for sale because it’s in their way. They ask around 15k EUR but I don't think I would give them more then 5k...or 0k...

Anything can be saved with enough time and money......that being said, I'd pass on this one.

Closer to 5k than 15k definitely. With that being said, I’ve seen people buy way worse 100s than that one. If they’re willing to negotiate, definitely talk to them.

It's 50th Anniversary one. With rr diff lock and whatnot but still it was like watching Titanic documentary footage... When I asked the bodywork painter to give me an estimate based on the photos and videos I sent him, he said: “I wouldn’t do that, I have no need for such a job.”
That means I would have to look for mechanics/bodyworkers who would actually be willing to take this on.

He wasn’t open to adjusting the price; €15,000 unfortunately isn’t an option. I’d rather invest that money into my FZJ80. It would be wonderful, but unfortunately there’s no option for replacement bodies, chassis, etc. This market is flooded with Prado versions. It’s a shame—I could really use a 100 Series, especially since a fifth child is on the way :D.
