Just a head’s up, Toyota parts is having a sale on TRD parts including wheels. You need to set up an account and pick a dealer to shop from. Each ones can have slightly different prices. I think the sale ends this week.

Look good.
Any backpacking issues?
OEM brake components fit well?
well, no idea what backpackin is...so, id guess not hahahahahahahaha. All a str8 fit!!

Looks great. I didn’t think 295s would work in the FJCo wheels. Are those wheels 16x6?
I believe so yes. I know technically they're really not supposed to go on anything narrower than 8 inches, but I like to live dangerously. Plenty of others running wider tires on 6 inch wide wheels, doesn't seem to be an issue unless you're rock crawling. Ran a couple thousand mile road trip on this setup in October and it was flawless.

yea, no issues at all. thousands of us run 10.5" and 11.5" wide tires on the factory 15x6 steelies for decades now

Yup those look good, and good to know. I have 235/85 mounted on the FJco wheels and would actually like to go a little bigger. Discount likely won’t install anything larger on 6” wide rims but there are ways around that.

Yes both discount tire and les schwab around me here refused to mount anything bigger on that wheel for me. I bought the tundra steelies instead. Tried using the stock chrome rims with bigger tires but no luck.
