Clearly I'll have to replace the floorboards at some point. I'm not naive about the truck. I know it still has problems. It's far from finished but finished for now.

Ah -- glad that this has finally segued into food. Noted tonight a disadvantage of the fixed tailgate -- no longer so great as a grill prep area. Salmon turned out perfectly regardless.
