Thanks for the info. I have created a 'cheat sheet' with the images you posted to give to my borther. I've also asked that he keep his eyes open for Land Cruiser stickers, etc. Then again, I have to be careful, as he is on vacation and I don't want him spending all of his time searching for my stuff!

Mot, I would love to tour a Toyota factory. I have toured a few car plants in Ontario - very intereting. It would be cool to see the real Kanban system and Jidoka! We're selling business there, so who knows - although it's a LONG commute!

My old JDM accessory brochure shows a beautiful aluminum roof rack that is unlike anything I have ever seen. I have lusted after one for close to 10 years. The trouble is my old price list, after exchange, indicated that it was close to 1,500 bucks

The exchange rate must have changed in your favor as you can put your hands on them for a mere 70,000 yen ($650US-ish) plus 10% discount right now for the 1.6m rack and 78,000 ($700-ish) plus 10% for 2.0m.

The width is 1.3m (4 ft and 4 inches) and the legs are 140 mm (6 inches plus?) or long enough to clear the roof of the 80.

I'm contemplating on the purchase but I don't know if they would allow me to carry on or to check-in anything this size, even w/o being put together. Haven't bother looking into it, yet.

Anyway, not that anybody asked, but the shorter one weighs 25kgs (little over 50lbs) and the bigger one 30. The downside is that you are only advised to carry upto 50kgs (110lbs or so). But you would not think that if you saw this pic:

• The foil pack from a wine keg ( or whatever they're called )
• A Texas catheter
• Thigh BP cuff
• 'T' style plumbing valve

Place the Texas catheter over the business end of the wine keg . Place the thing BP cuff over the foil pack , and insert this all into the seatback ; allowing the BP inflator to exit the seat dropping it down beside the driver seat . Pressurize the latte pack , place the distal end of the catheter into your mouth .. and open valve for a sip of heavenly hazelnut latte ... [/glow]
