I got a new OEM fuel tank but it didn't come with the 5 small screws/bolts that hold the sending unit in. I need to run up to HD and try to get the right size.

Anyone have an idea of what size and thread these should be? It looks like they will be really short too, like 3/16 or so. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Where are the ones that came out of the old tank?

I should have read this earlier

Man, I wish I saw your post earlier; I just had mine out this morning. They are short- about 8mm, fine pitch, button head phillips screws. Let me know if you don't find it on that spreadsheet.

Hmmm just checked and those bolts are not on the spreadsheet. I'll pull my tank out tonight, measure one and update the spreadsheet tonight....

Just guessing I'd say 5mm diameter x 0.8 pitch x 10mm long

Where are the ones that came out of the old tank?

It had a POS poly tank in it, sending unit was held in with sheet metal screws that leaked..............

Thanks Coolerman, if I find the right ones today I'll let you know so you don't have to mess with pulling anything out.

Coolerman, if you want to update your spreadsheet, one of the guys locally was able to give me the dimensions and I found the replacements at HD, they worked fine.

Correct size is 4mm x 0.7 pitch x 8mm length, flat head phillips

Thanks for your help!
