What should it cost?

What would be a reasonable offer/value of an 85 standard cab 4x4 pickup with the 22R and a 5 speed. Red original paint, great condition, Smitty built front bumper. Pro comp lift (2.5"?) and 118k miles.

look at what they go for on auto trader. 85 solid axle fi ??? thats the only year with those two options together. ive seen them as high as seven. if they ever sold i dont know. i picked mine up for twelve hundred with 145k and it had good paint. the lf fender was damaged. but still the guy didnt know what he had. i could sell it any day of the week for three grand.

my '85 XtraCab with EFI was going for $4400. Very clean. I offered $3500 cash. He said "no thanks". Called me the next day and said "OK, $3500". Also had a steel camper shell on it. He's happy, I'm happy.

Clean straight axle trucks are getting very rare and if anything are going up in price. For a low miles, cherry, rust free rig, that price doesn't seem out of line to me.
