But you missed the forth pys? Some would say.... The Tony pys...

I did in fact miss the fourth one. The one I most wanted to attend. My fourth one was the sixth one. Now the seventh one will be my fifth one. I can drink again so I can bring a fifth to my fifth trip, which is the seventh trip in all. Which is an attendance rate of 70%. So I will have attended 70% of the trips being sober on 2 trips out of 5 is 40% sober and that's 50% too much soberness.

If I wasn't sober right now that would all make perfect sense to me.

Heard from AJ, last he knew the big tent was at Carl's shop. Anybody know how to get ahold of Carl?

Bawahahahahahahaha...wtf...hahahahahahaha

Ordered my new tires today!
Won't be able to get them till after March 1st (in order to get the big rebate).
Went with the Yokohama Geolander M/T in a 35-12.5-15
I'm totally stoked!

Thanks to Billiam & his (now) reputation for being the guy who knows how to get things.
I have some v6 3rds with 4.88 gears to install. (more work)
Looking at lockers for the new 3rds .
Anyone wanna buy me some stronger axles & Birfs for the front so I can lock it too whilst its apart?

I recommend spartan lockers. I just installed one in the 80 axle and it took me less than 10mins, and I'm an idiot. Much easier than installing the lock wrong from what i can remember. I have not driven on it yet so i cant give any feedback on how it actually works on the street and offroad. The cheapest place i have found them was on rockauto, the price there beat any of the pirate vendors "deals" by at least 30-50bucks shipped, and was up to 75bucks cheaper than other online vendors.

Ive run lock rites for a long time and have had no issues, Im not sure why they get a such a bad rep. Maybe its because they have been around longer than spartan and aussie and have had more failures.... Im pretty sure the install is the same on all brands of lunch box, but different 3rds require different steps. These 4.88 v6 3rds are very easy! And, no need to remove the ring gear.

The pin design is what makes the install so much easier. They include a wire to hold the pin down and you pull it out once the locked section is in the diff. The pins are alot bigger as well. I used to run a lockright in the front of my jeep and broke an axle shaft evreytime i went wheeling (obviously). The front lockright pins sheered and jammed them selves in the holes and the locker was stuck engaged by the time i parted that heep out. Now this was probably due to the shafts breaking and shock loading everything, and made worse by me 3 wheeling it instead of replacing the shaft, so not really the fault of the locker per se. I do remember it being kind of a pain in the ass to get everything installed in the diff with the springs and pins, that also could have been my 19yr old dumbass not knowing how to use tools.
The spartan is cheaper on rockauto than the lockright.

Plus look how cool that box that is, it would look nice on the shelf in the garage and make you look like a wheeler... Thats what its all about!!

Aw dang! What are the additional parts? Long fields?

Thanks for the input Geoff. However I already ordered a Spartan Locker just this morning (around 6:00am) I have run Lock Right lockers before. Have one in my 4.10 3rd that I'm changing out. Have run them in other rigs as well. No problems.
The Spartan, aside from the cool box, got great reviews & was less than the Lock Right. I got mine shipped for $261.00 from Low Range Off Road, I have had great service from them & find their prices lower than everybody else. But I hate Rock Auto so I didn't even check them.

How old is the lock right in the 410 third ( not that it matters) ? I might just try to get some rcv's in the front axle before PYS.
Tax man says I got some money coming back.

It would be epic to have the front locked in Alice before she becomes donor material.

All of those reasons are why i decided to try it. Low range just could not beat the price on rockauto for me, i never would have thought about buying a locker there and happened to click on it and was like OOOO that's a good price...

Put the locker in at end of 2013, just after I got the rig.

I ordered the 27 spline Longfields chromoly set & a second Spartan locker for my truck last night.
Gonna be locked front & rear & see how the 27's hold up. Life time unconditional (no questions asked) warranty!

As a side note on the 27 spline set: If I ordered off the e-bay store for T.G. it was full price (349.00) & free shipping, but only a 1 year warranty. Order from T.G. website it was 366.00 & 47.00 shipping & 1 year warranty.
Ordered from L.R.O.R. and they were 316.00 with 42.00 shipping & unlimited lifetime warranty. I went with L.R.O.R.

dual cases, solid axle, new 35's, and lockers.... You are gonna be a wheeling mofo. I'm feeling like we need to take some time each day and get through as much of All Day/week Sucker as possible! See if we can get farther than Todd and I got on PYS 4. :)

That was a pretty good trip. My goal is to get further this year. Had some major set backs on the engines yesterday.

Where we had to stop (pig suicide) things were getting pretty epic!!

Set backs you say?
