Hi all, I have a 1995 VX cruiser swb with a 3 litre turbo engine can enybody tell me the exact model of it and how many splines the diffs have please?

I'm going to say KZJ71. Your chassis number should tell you.

As for the diffs, no idea.

No, if it's a 3.0L turbo, it's got to be a 1KZ-T or 1KZ-TE. The only question is whether it's a KZJ70 or 71.

Not if it's 3000cc. 2L-T is 2446cc.

I always thought that 71 was for an auto, and 70 was 5spd. I may stand corrected.

EDIT: according to this site: http://cc.oulu.fi/~thu/LC/tech/history.html, the 71 is EFI, 70 is mechanical injection. Production dates 93-96 for KZJ70 and 71.

That's a good link. Not quite complete or perfectly correct but pretty good. It's interesting that they show the 3B as being current (in 1997 at least ) in the Dyna trucks. That bodes well for parts supply

I've always found that interesting too . I suspect the countries are east european but I think oz was still getting some form of B engine later than that in the Dyna.

Another interesting thing on that list is it shows a HB31 which is a 12HT powered Coaster
