I travel all of California for work. Think I can stop by and check out your shop sometime?I went with a Mettalic building. The biggest I could go is 2,400 sq ft. If I went bigger, I would have to put a stand alone fire sprinkler system in.
The county changed the footings if the upright. They required a 4'x4'x4' footing for each upright. They also changed the thickness of the concrete. They required 8" double reinforced concrete.
As Delancy mentioned, all the little things began adding up and there was no way for the local building contractor to foresee these county mandated changes.
The local contractor builds Walmart's and shopping centers for a business. He sells and puts up metal buildings to keep his employees busy between big projects.
Looks great. What brand is your building?Went with a 60X40 with 20ft lean too down one side.
All metal construction- built in TX….
Going with all metal house- no issue with weight or termites View attachment 1002160
Mueller buildingLooks great. What brand is your building?
Thats exactly what I have been trying to convince my dad to get on board with on our property. Something big enough for us to drive in the ranch equipment to work on and be able to finish out part of it as living quarters.
That's a great lay out!View attachment 1004170 View attachment 1004171 View attachment 1004172 View attachment 1004168 View attachment 1004168 View attachment 1004168
