What is this winch?

I am looking at this old Warn 8000# winch here in Colorado. Is this the predecessor to the 8274? Are these any good? He wants $ 250 for it.

It's a Bellview "5687" I have one on my 73...I think it came with the truck when it was new. Mines 8k. It is the predecessor for the 8274. Someone posted an original manual on here just do a search for "Bellview 5687"

Yup 5687. there is a site where you can get all the parts from still...don't remember it tho.

250 is too much. Max I would pay is 100, but that's me. I'd rather pay up to 500 for a used 8274 that is decent.

Thanks, guys. Now I need to see if an 8274 will fit on the winch bumper I just bought for my project 62.
