Joining the Veterans Highway is as simple as posting to The Welcome Thread (<-- LINK - read thru it and see what has been shared by others). When posting to The Welcome Thread:
we like to see pictures of your TLC... and any pictures (in good taste) you care to post.

Veteran & Military: Please introduce yourself with your first name, branch of service and anything else you wish to include about yourself... we like to see pictures of your TLC... and any pictures (in good taste) you care to post.

Non-Veteran & Non-Military: Please introduce yourself with your first name and anything else you wish to share about yourself... we like to see pictures of your TLC... and any pictures (in good taste) you care to post.

Once you introduce yourself, you are a member!!
You are also welcome to memorialize friends' and relatives' military service in The Welcome Thread.

The Veterans Highway is a very loose forum dedicated to Veterans (active duty are veterans too!) and their Land Cruisers, as long as proper etiquette is exercised (humor is fine, but not at the expense of others), there is no reason to define rules for this forum.

This means it is open to anyone (vet and non-vet) who wants to share/discuss anything related to veterans and/or military.

But, this is not Chat... let's be sure to respect each other and each other's feelings and remember that each and everyone of us brings our own form of baggage, some worse than others'. But, it's our own baggage nonetheless.

Feel free to start your own threads, as the need arises and try to offer helpful suggestions, insights, thoughts, etc. to others' posts and try to be supportive of our sisters and brothers.

Threads like @Big Ed's "Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)" thread, are meant to solicit discussion and/or helpful suggestions for the issues that Ed, and others with TBIs, face every minute of their life.

Thread's like @JohnnyC's "Young Marines" are meant to be informative and spotlight the wonderful work being done by Johnny and his peers. I don't know about the rest of you, but I never heard of the Young Marines until Johnny introduced them in this thread!

You get the picture? Its that simple!!

Welcome!!

Please advertise our forum to your friends... we have no way to alert everyone of the availability of The Veterans Highway. You are welcome to copy The Veterans Highway link and add it to your signature!!
