What is a good bead lock setup for the LC200?

I have the factory wheels and new tires which are 18" and I'm having a hard time finding bead locks in 18" with the LC200 bolt pattern.

I've seen some LC200 with TRD bead locks, but these wheels I can only find in 16". Do these 16" need a spacer and if so how much to of a spacer is needed to run these? or is there a TRD bead lock in 18"?

Is there a good bead lock in 18" with the land cruiser bolt pattern? or do most people offset them out and run a different wheel size?

The TRD wheels you’ve seen on the LC are usually rock warriors from the Tundra. They’re not bead locks tho. Just wheels with rock rings. Most bead lock wheels are not DOT approved and the ones that are are pretty expensive. Why do you need bead locks? Do you air down to below 10PSI often?

Hutchinson has beadlocks available for the Land Cruiser with the correct fitment.

I'm in that soft what we call sugar sand. It's a white sand if you just stand in it, your feet sink. So normally I'm down to about 20-22 psi but it would be nice to go down to 12 without worrying about popping a bead. The jeeps I go with run KMC's. This 200 is way heavier than my jeep.

Thanks for pointing out those TRD's are not bead locks.

Those rock monster say only to 2007 Land Cruiser... but they do say 2007+ tundra. .. I'll have to call them and see if they fit, thanks.

I’m no bead expert...but I’ve had my 35x12.5x17 Ridge Grapplers on Rock Warriors down as low as 15PSI or so which is seriously spread under my heavy 200. Wouldn’t want to blast around turns at that level, but I think you’ll find many tires air down and hold the bead pretty well without true headlocks. I don’t know anyone personally who has them...

Maybe experiment a bit in a safe area with a spare and easy-out access. Might be pleasantly surprised.

Thanks, Think you're right .. I'll see how it goes first. I'll have to talk later with you about your lift.

There is a company that converts them to single bead locks now. I will look around and see if I can find the link.

I have run beadlocks on a daily driver a few times (Jeep JKU, Jeep GC, and Toyota FJC). It's ok but they do tend to leak air quicker than a standard wheel, depending on the design and hardware you will break bolts, they always weigh significantly more (rotational mass), and they aren't DOT approved so most tire shops won't touch them so be prepared to find a shop that will or set aside time to mess with them yourself.

If you need them then you need them, but most that think they do don't. I am not sure who all makes them for the LC but a lot of the beadlock companies sell blank wheels and will custom drill out any bolt pattern you want. Hutchinson are nice and used by the military but they are extremely heavy, I've personally had Trail Ready, Champion, and Raceline beadlocks. The Champion's broke bolts like clock work and were by far my least favorite but they are a conversion kit and that probably explains a lot. The Trail Ready had a few issues at first but overall were great wheels and I loved the look. The Racelines were damn near flawless and I would highly recommend them as one of the best options currently on the market.
