well i guess i am next in line for the beating. shall i go get a switch?

if you choose one thats too small or one that breaks, I'LL GET THE SWITCH!

L:lol:L!

I use the "Right Stuff" and I would feel comfortable removing the bolts holding the part on after that stuff has set.... It's wicked strong! Every time I pull my oil pan I end up bending the #(*$&$&^ out of it in the process....

Well everything is apart . It took a wire wheel to get it alll clean. The timing cover did fail on the passenger side. That is where I got my water from. NEVER PUT THE TIMING COVER on with the oil pan on. That is what I did last time and my gasket got on a bind during re-assembly.

ever noticed when you work on a solid axle truck with a lift pulling the pan during a timing set replacement seems reasonable............but on an ifs truck with no lift pullin the pan $ux!!!!

Oh boo hoo..... I dropped the diff, dropped the pan, replaced all the engine bearings and put it all back together in 5 hours.... By myself....

And I tried the timing cover with the head and pan on thing, and it leaked.... so just drop the pan, you need to get the timing guide parts out anyway...
