My tank has done quote fine with an M8000 for over ten years. :meh:

I've seen it in action. GMP + rain = winch and every strap and extension you can find, oh and 2 snatch blocks, another truck to winch the primary recovery rig around the secondary recovery rig and about 4 hours.... so when's the next reunion :hillbilly:

Worked on the front bumper today. I was at this point last weekend...

I welded on the horizontal bar, light mounts, and CB antenna mount and fit the antenna and light bar in to see how it all looked.

Looks good .

Is there some kind of protection for the a/c accumulator ?

It'll have to be relocated. either pushed up a bit so it is out of the way or pushed all the way to where the blinker is. I haven't really figured out what will be best yet

like the CB mount up front, but what about a ham radio?

Don't have one yet, but I get one I will probably go with a hand held.

Get a mag mount antenna

Painted up my bumper after doing some sawzall cutting to the inner fender/main support... here's a comparison of the cut vs. not cut main support.

AC condenser tucked up high below the blinker housing so it won't get slammed into...

Looks great keep spending money to support the economy!

monstalined the 80...

You should call up Luke at 4x4labs. I know he's been working on a 3rd gen rear bumper and he might have it done by now. The bumper shell kits are around $600 but I'm not sure how much more the swing outs are. It's super easy to fit together and weld up.

Yea, please do, and post the build here. I got too many things going right now with the house starting, so I need someone else to put one of these beauties on their 3rd gen so I can lust after one. I have spoken to him a couple times and he is working on a true 3rd gen kit, so you might be the guy to finally snag one.
