What conversion is this? Not a Trekker.

Anyone know what conversion this is? It's a 1981 with 96K original miles. Some rust, nothing major. It's been sitting for years after it was parked with a carb issue. I don't think it would take much to get on the road. Thinking about making an offer. Any ideas what it's worth?

look like a 4runner conversion of a pick up,somebody on mud wrote once that winnebago use to do this, but the rear seats look very bad.

There were 2 other companies doing conversion that I know of, one called it Trail Blazer, and the other was a Wolverine I think... I don't know the company names though...

thanks Jerod, that is what was on the one i used to see. trail blazer, i just thought they put that on there since Chevy already had that name. but it looked exactly like the one pictured.

Yep. I saw a couple of those as a kid up in Washington, kinda dopey looking at first until you realize you can take the top off easier, but still a bit "fugly" overall. Would be nice to do a full resto on just for the sake of keeping one around.

Thanks for the info. I talked to the owner and he's not interested in selling right now. He's had it since 1984 and he's still pretty attached to it.

That is a trail blazer. I had one, unfortunately without a title and the top had been thrown away by the previous owner. As far as value goes they are pretty much just a cut out pickup. Ugly top but the long wheelbase sure would be nice as a pasenger vehicle with plenty of room for gear.

thats a wolverine. I used to see one in santa cruz followed him all over but never got to really check it out. I own a 81 TREKKER, the trailblazer looks like it has a snug top on it.

*He's right guys, sorry to say it is indeed a Breaker, similar in appearance but it is a Breaker.

I actually saw a wrecked Tacoma this morning on a flatbed... I seriously considered stopping them to get the info and see if I could buy it for parts. It was clearly totaled. Front end was all but gone, and the airbags deployed. New baby and a fresh 20R stopped me.
