You just came out like two times to go wheeling up here, sucks you picked the days we did all the shoveling;) But some times shoveling for 1/2 an hour is either a make it or turn around move. I choose make it.:hillbilly:

I'm seeing a pattern here. May long you brought out 2 shovels! Gotter done though.

Maybe by the time rusty is together I'll have a real wheeling truck built. Then I'll come up for a 'next level' northern trip. Just need a couple years.

Well a shovel, axe, and highlift, are probably the most important wheeling tools, and can get you by 90% of the undrivable obsticales encountered on a trail. The winch will get you by the rest. I guess a snorkle and some balls will get you through some of the deeper/longer water crossings;)

Don't worry, we are not up to the next level yet either, I need one more year on the 60, and Adam has to get his older little bronco done to conquer the onion lake trail. I gave it a try in the 42 back when I was sprung under and unlocked and I blew a bead on the first hard obstical, so I gave up and am saving that trail for when I can actually take a good stab at it. the three other trucks with me were a fully locked YJ on 33 ltb's, a fully locked 82 mini truck on ag tires (which ended up endoing on the trail!), and a fully locked 4runner on 35s.

don't wait too long, someone may put a well up in there and pave the road

yeah that is what happend to the look out trail that are the old pictures in this thread, mining company came in and cleaned the road up just before our second trip up there.

nothing worse than driving 3 hrs to do gravel travel, I can do that on my street

I hear you, 98% of the roads we drive on for work are gravel, no need to travel some place you can get to with an unlifted dodge one ton, or worse a lowrider honda!

Undecided if I'll be up there hunting this fall, Jim. It would be start of Oct because I couldn't get the last bit of Sept off work. But I hear they are openning an elk season in the Kootenay's where its always been LEH, so not yet decided until the regs are out.

Doubt I'll have a wheeling 40 together by next year but I'd be game for an Onion Lake/hardcore Tumbler 2012 run.

Adam says he's in too, but if we get our s*** together by next year we might make a pre-run in there next year. I think there is a group of guys trying to go in there this year, so we will se how they make out, but my money is on not too good.

LOL, yeah or weed. I had a cat operator I was supervising one time tell me a lot of times at work he doesn't even know where he is or what he's doing cause he is so high! You bet I watched him like a hawk and eventually got him off reclamation duties.:hillbilly:

barely any mud, but lots of creepin crawlin. Ripped my front fender back, so had to hammer it back, then later did some trimming before the next trip.
