Well not really, the entire town of Boston Bar is here
I ordered the one from Napa in Hope. It will be there between 4:30-5pm tomorrow so I have to go get it. Got enough juice to drive down and sleep in their parking lot. Unless someone is coming up. Alternator is paid for.

I'm genuinely shocked that you don't have a spare alternator packed away with all the gear you carry Glad it has worked out, but next time it might be beneficial to post a part number for such an item in your frankenbeast.

k sounds like your solo,watch for the griz up the koopee past the the run of the river hydro project. im thinking of hooking up with sas up the north side of carpenter on friday. but the front comeing though that area can change things, to move a little lower. i might have to whip into wigwam to fix a broken spring for the reserve first though. hope it works out to be only the alternator. i thought you were hooking up with someone somewhere ? i doubt merrit will get spared from the weather front either.

the beauty of the spot is that if you see it not move, you know the grizz had his appetizer. of course he also knows that the main course is on the way.

well I'm not sure what I will do for tonight yet. need to wait for the alternator to show up (hopefully right one) and then see what time it is when I finish installing it. will update later.

so is this the same alternator we talked about before? how much was it from napa?

it's the Isuzu NPR alternator used between 1990-97 on the 3.9L diesels with a vacuum pump. $220 from Napa with an account.
Hope the right one shows up, will find out after 4 today I guess.

well the alternator is still 30 minutes out. By the time it gets here and I get it installed it will be late. I'm looking at staying down here somewhere for the night. Planning on heading to Moly tomorrow. Those interested can text me.

Well it's early in the day, got the truck fixed but it was late (a couple complications) so I crashed in town. After looking at the weather, which is going to suck, I'm still going to stick to the original plan. Head out today and stick to the plan of going to Nahatlatch first and then moving North up Kwoiek and Moly. The weather seems to be a bitbetter north of Boston Bar for later in the week (but not much). I'll be leaving Hope around 9:30 (after I pick up a couple things).

I'm back, was an interesting trip with a couple of odd twists but lots of fun. Said bye to Rob who continued up to Bella Coola to explore there with family. I need to get some stuff done before I even have a chance to edit pics.
