Hi, just got back from hanging out on the island a discovering some excellent spots. won't have time to upload pics or report anything but I'm looking at doing a trip next week. likely leaving tuesday, possibly staying out till the end of the month/long weekend.
Planning on hitting up Moly mountain, there is the old ski resort I heard that is abandoned in the sunshine valley, there is the Nahatlatch valley to check out (gate at theend is down), also might beinterested in heading up to Carpenter and back up Relay Creek to see how far we can make it (got stopped by snow last time).
who can and is interested?
 
I'd go if I wasn't going back to the island Wednesday for a mtnbiking
I'm really interested in Moly at some point down the road.

Moly is on my list as well. Doubt I can get a couple days away right now, but hope you have a great trip!

Well this is the suggested plan:
Tues-Nahatlatch, go check out the valley as far as possible. Rob H. Was there last year and said the gate was down but there was a washout. Maybe some ATVs or someone has made it through, maybe some digging is required, who knows. Worth checking out. Then up to the tower for the camp at night, maybe go to the end of that trail for a dip in the small lake there.
Wed-head towards Moly, I'd like to check out Kwoiek Creek and valley first, so likely pop in there and see what it's like. So either camp there for the night or head to Moly and camp there.
Thur-Moly, head to top, or do whatever I don't get to before. Either camp there or head to Lillooet, then to Laulwissun Creek, I want to check out the trails on the plateau there and see about access to Blue Earth lake from that side. After...it's kind of up in the air, see what happens.
 
I'll be around Lillooet Tue - Thu, not sure if I'll have evenings free but if I do I might take a run out

Finally at home and finished packing food. Rob, sorry to hear you can't make it. I will be leaving tomorrow morning and planning on being out of the Tricities by around 10:00.
I checked the weather and it calls for rain around Thursday/Friday in the Lillooet/Boston Bar areas. Merritt not so much. So around then I might be heading closer to the Merritt area, but we'll see.
If anyone thinks they can join in at some point you can try sending me a text on 604.803.3506 and we can try to meet up that way if I get it. Will have the radio on 146.460 as well but limited range.
 
Mat has done well in two hours... now if only Spot would provide statellite images to further inhance the web wheeling experience... :hillbilly:
