No idea, I was texting the lady yesterday night and this morning she said that she received tons of messages and emails. :) I think this was pretty good deal but still I have only couple 100's $ left for the parts..

Found this lx let me know if someone is interested and I'll get you guys in touch.

So quick rundown. I just don't have he money and time to build this thing. No way around it. 237k non locked, everything is typical LX. Needs pass side knuckle rebuild, I have the front axle rebuild kit, needs rear shocks thrown on, have those as well. If it goes to someone cool, I'd take 3500. I got it for a song and don't wanna make money, just pass it to someone who can build it. It's my daily and is ready to roll.

Fyi. Being a guy that had owned hondas and toyotas for way past 300k. Hondas eat cv joints every 100k or sooner. And have a timing belt. Corolla timing chain on the 1zzfe and I have yet to change a cv on a toy. Over the life of the vehicle it adds up.

Oh yeah, very familiar with Honda CV joint replacement and the timing belt job. I just really don't like the look of the corolla or I would be interested in it as well.

But he says it needs shocks and struts!

Yep. It has several things wrong with it, but it only had 139k miles. And I figured if i put a lift on it, it would need new shocks and struts anyway. When it comes to transportation, I often make emotional decisions that require more work than had I thought it out better.

I guess my sarcasm didn't transmit with that reply! I was alluding to the fact that none of us would buy it without lifting it. (And 80s don't have struts)

Its a big deal - and the Hondas have interference engines (I believe after '89 or so), so if that belt breaks, you run the risk of issues.

My whole family (Grandparents, 6 Aunt/Uncles and all kids +) mostly moved from Hondas to Toyota in the mid-nineties due to the new interference engines and transmission issues of the early 90's Accords and Vans.

Have you seen slees? I emailed this guy 6 months ago when it was up and got no reply the rust is a wild card. Could be fun though
