Weatherstrip

Has anyone figured out how to get weatherstrip by the roll? I don't need it fitted to each door since it doesn't go in the rain. Thanks!

I heard the 3m tape ones were not sticky enough.

I "paint" the metal where the weather strip is going. I don't have much experience with peal and stick stuff. If the adhesive doesn't stick to the backing - how good can it stick elsewhere?

One of the secrets is knowing what material the seal is made of then buy the correct adhesive for that type of material. Mis-matched seal and adhesive means no sticky and will fall off.
