Cruzerdave has not answered any of my e-mails regarding your mystery box. Any other info you allowed to give? I am mostly interested in time frame. Is this project waay out in the future or done within a year?

The last picture in post 331 looks like you're front inner passenger side u-bolt is broken? I can't see it from the picture. Just fyi in case.

I'm doing my SOA over christmas break. I'll also be dropping the trany and replacing a rear main seal. I don't want to drop the trany yet if there is something almost ready in the next few months. I'll be waiting for your reply this weekend.

If you have the time over your break, you might consider driving up here and pining Dave or Marlin in person. Just an idea.

If it were only that easy. I'd feel like I was taking up their valuable work time if I came in and say, "Hey, tell me about this experimental prototype." I feel that they'd answer me by saying, oh it's not ready yet, check back in a few months.

Any new info?

All I can say they are only waiting on one last part to be in stock, They don't really want to push it until they are completely ready.

short answer... nope not yet, closer then its ever been...but not yet.

no date that I know of

Thank you. I'll stop hijacking your thread. :grinpimp:

I just went through the first couple pages of this thread and wanted to say thank you to Brendan for building 99% of this wagon. Without him(freds40) it would be way more halfassed :grinpimp:

Thanks man

Yeah thanks Dan... once we got home the other day I was told I need to pull another 50 trees out... good times

Make the list and photo copy it and have her sign it. That way she can stop adding to it. :D

She can add nothing to the list until you spend 10% of the time it took to make her list smaller working on your stuff.

Example:

For every 100 hours you spend working for her, your get to spend 10 hours (un-interupted) on your rig(s).

LOL

Yes, it does work for me.

Man if I had seen this crap before coming down there that night, I might have rethought it. I think living in the middle of no where has made you a bit on the :princess: side.

:flipoff2: No worries man. Just need to get it going again so we can get on the trail. It's an awfully nice shop you have there but that non driving 60 sitting in there just sucks.

The wag is going on the market.

Should I part it out for the axles and a440 toy box or sell it whole to someone with a clean 62 that wants to build it?

Needs a trans. 1,2&R work but won't go into 3rd or OD

Besides the trans the truck is in the same condition as this build, I'll post it for sale soon.

He's alive. Keep it together and let someone get it going again. Do you have something else in mind for the next build?

I just picked up a locked 94 FZJ80 for my wife. It already had a OME lift. Now we have to take both of them when we go out.
