old thread but i’m having issues with my temp sender.
i have a 1972 (2nd gen gauge) with the original gauge and temp sender. the needle is pegged at hot when power off like it should. at start up (so cold) it’ll move to the middle of the temp gauge and as it warms up it pegs to hot again? is this simply a need to recalibrate the gauge or does this sound like a wiring/short kind of problem.
i have a chevy 350 with the sender in the head
