When it rains water seems to leak in and from, I think, the A pillar. I assume this because I saw water drops on the pillar while it was raining.

I was curious if anyone would have any input as to if this is a weather stripping issue, or if it could be something more severe (based on personal experience)? Because if it can be solved with a new weather strip, thats easy enough.

Inspect the sealant in the rain gutters, more than likely the leak is coming from here...

Did your rig come with a dealer installed "roof rack" (a term that I use loosely). Mine did. Leaked like a mother. Took that stupid thing off and sealed all of the holes. No more leaking.

If no dealer "roof rack", yep, like the others have said, it's almost certainly your seals.

BUT, also make sure that your cowl drains are clean and that your seals in the engine bay by the cowl are good.

I cant say if it came with a dealer installed roof rack. However, I did discover there are some screw sized holes drilled into the roof of the thing...

The absolute insanity.

But when you say "Seals" are you talking about down inside the rain gutter channel?

Those screw holes in the roof are almost certainly from one of those crappy roof racks. Mine leaked and brought water to the A pillars.

I ended up cleaning up (sanding, rust treatment and primer before Monstalining) the holes and JB welding them closed. Stopped all leaking. It’s best to weld them shut but the headliner needs to be pulled to stop it from catching fire if you go that route.

And where the seals are concerned, yes I meant the seals in the gutters. Sorry about that.

Post up some pics of what you’re dealing with. That will help with diagnosis.
