So we were able to find the issue… turns out the wiring harness was misplaced at some point in time and water down it into the cabin. Attached are pictures… I’m picking it up Friday so I will provide more information when I pick it up View attachment 3255314View attachment 3255315
Are you suggesting moving the wiring harness from the top of the intake divider to the bottom solved your problem? From the other leak threads, everyone who posted a picture of this area has the wiring harness clipped into the top like you first picture, or maybe I'm just reading too much into the pictures.

I’m not sure what the fix was, I was just sent those pictures and a brief description. I’ll get more information from the service manager later this week. Hopefully I can get an answer to your question!

Curious as to whether this (moving the wiring harness to the underside) actually did the trick. I’ve been suffering a similar leak and just tried that trick (I also came across some videos indicating this is a possible fix). Too soon to tell whether it will work but curious as to whether that fixed the issue for you.

It did not. Had to get the wind shield cowl replaced

When I need to replace my windshield I plan a) to remove the cowl myself and b) put a cover over the air intake per attached video, before I put it all together again.

Got it. Thanks. I’m going to try to rig one of those polycarbonate deflectors for the intake reservoir. When that doesn’t work it sounds like a new cowl is in my future….

Thanks for the input.

I plan to do the same. Just curious as to how that guy attached the cover to the air intake. Any thoughts on that? I’d be hesitant to leave it un-anchored/attached to the structure. Maybe it’ll be self apparent when I dig into it but any thoughts that don’t involve duct tape are welcome!

Yes, the piece shown in the video is not obvious to me either. My initial thought is to use corrugated plastic with a lip under the edge mounted with perhaps two small stainless screws using existing or small new holes. Definitely need to look at this further. Keep me posted when you make the mod. Some pictures would be great.
