Warn winch parts?

So I'm finally getting around to putting my 24V 8274 together. It's a mix of parts from different winches and I need a couple of things:

Motor pinion gear for keyed shaft P/N 9054.

Also, one of the long screws that is used to attach the motor to the winch.

If you have any of these in your parts bins I'd be interested in taking them off your hands.

Bring 'em to the meeting on Thursday is fine.

Turns out I was offered a whole parts winch to use as I needed to get my 8274 up and running. Thanks JUSTIN!!

Installed it yesterday with Andrew (my son); mounted the solenoids on the fan shroud to keep them high and dry.

You had better cover that solenoid pack up with something. There is a lot of live electricity there, and
you don't want a short circuit. Be make sure the cables to the winch motor are shielded coming out of
the solenoid pack as well, they tend to arc against the base. Looks good though. I like the cover, and
I too plan to get rid of the hook. Are you using a shackle instead?

Thanks for the advice. I plan to put the Warn solenoid cover on; cables are well insulated coming off the solenoids. I keep the winch disconnected until I need it, but better safe than sorry. 24V gives a nasty spark.

I have shackles that I can use, so I was going to leave a hook off it for the moment.
