Anyone ever buy one of these or is it just smarter to buy the parts/pieces separately? I have some of the parts that come with the "kit", but I do I need a better snatch block and a tree saver. Just curious.

Is that what you're talking about? I bought a ARB snatch block ($70), several large D-rings (about $10 ea), a 4" X 12' tree saver ($15) because 8' isn't enough up here. I have so many pairs of gloves it's crazy, and I have heavier chains than that. Oh, I bought a 6" X 30' snatch strap for $100 from Mac's custom tie downs, something like 60,000# rated.
Personally, I don't think the Warn kit is that great, but it does come with a camo bag!!!! You're in Colorado, find a logging supply store. They'll have most all of that stuff. You can get new cables made there too.

If you've already got some of the bits then get the remaining things you need and throw it all in a duffle. The Warn kit is nice, but it's spendy for what it is.
