Warn 9.5 XP issue

Winch is clicking but not spooling out in either direction. Checked all of the electrical connections and everything appears good to go. Replace both solenoids? What say you?

Sounds like solenoids. Open it up and check them out.

I did take the cover off to be able to see the solenoids. It appears there are 4, 2 connected on each side. Is there a way to see if they are working?

My 9.5 XP did the same about a year ago. It was only 2.5 years old, but the motor went out and was not covered under warranty, so I paid for the repair to by done by a Warn authorized dealer. Yesterday, the motor went out again. It's getting voltage, but not spooling. After some google searching, I found that the drain on the 9.5 XP is oriented for feet down applications, and it will collect water when mounted feet forward. Hopefully pulling the motor apart and cleaning it up will get it going again.

You may want to just clean up connections before you get too excited.
