Is it normal for their to be a lag in drivetrain response after car warms up a couple of minutes. When I'm driving from house thru neighborhood, I notice the engine will rev BUT there a noticeable lag in the throttle response when I give it gas. This only happens for 1-2 minutes and then everything is fine. I assume it's normal

Are you sure it’s not just a sleepy skinny-pedal-foot that’s not yet awake? :hillbilly:

I’ll try this morning and see...

What year? Is it engine response, or drivetrain response that's laggy?

The only “normal” thing I can think of is the transmission not allowing torque converter lockup until there is a minimum coolant temp. Not sure exactly what this temp is, definitely not fully warmed up.. but if you pay attention on a cold morning and drive away just after starting without idling, it isn’t hard to notice some higher rpms than normal under cruising conditions.

Normal. Just a cold transmission. The first couple shifts in the 6 speed when cold can feel laggy or like the transmission is confused as to which gear it wants to be in. This only happens to me at slow speeds as well.

Move to Florida it won’t happen again

Still happens sometimes in N Florida though not as bad or as often as when I lived in Colorado.

I have the same thing on cold mornings....especially since I go up a slight incline most mornings right away. The transmission shift point seems delayed.

You didn't say what year this is but there is TSB and a flash correction for this.
TSB-0209-17
applies to 2016 LC's with VIN's before JTMCY7AJ#G4048393

Are there any 2016 LC 200's that will not be fixed with the update?
