The 45 has a nice bed to sleep in!

:lol::lol::lol:

I said it before, once the 40 is looking well underway, and drive-able, and the 25 is getting some attention, an older short 45 is on my list...but then that's it!!! It's all a matter of timing ;)

That's a really nice 45 you have there...I'd really try and find something else for your project...maybe you could find another frame, do all the mods, and bolt everything to that other frame...this way you will have saved the original older frame, and can still return the truck to stock at a later date...just my 2 cents.

Yup...would be just too much for me right now :frown:

Flanges for 'Mog axles can be had from EXAXT axles... google them, you'll find it. They have provided parts and help for lots of builds that use 404 axles in competition trucks and others.

45

Alot of folks have let me know what they think about choppin up my 45. So i got a good deal on an fj80, im going to sell the 45 and keep the mog axles in storage. It will be on ebay shortly thanks.

Thanks for the pics and video Francesco .. one issue I always care in your competition was the fact your trucks never try much on a wall or heavy mud section ..

It's something like one try and winch ..

We here, what do lot's of mud wheeling .. try several times before winch.

Basically this happens becouse in these races wins the fastest car, no matter how it finish the trail (winching or not) and if you try once and see that it would be hard to pass is easier to winch wihout wasting time tryin and trying.
I must say that overhere a lot of people cares more about building a fast winching system than a good performing car...:steer:
