Wanted: HJ47 Troopy in Aus

I'm looking to purchase a HJ47 Troopy in good condition and its proving very hard to find one. If anyone's got one or knows someone who does let me know.

I am located in VIC but im willing to travel to NSW, SA or QLD if i have to.

I wouldn't think that they would be that hard to find own under. Most of the Troopys I see for sale here in the US, seem to be located in your neck of the woods.

There seems to be alot more FJ45 troopy's than HJ47's. Also the ones i have found seem to either be very rusty or have been restored and are very pricey.

Just wait a little while. The market for them going overseas is slowing considerably now that the Aussie $ is at us$1.04.

The prices you are seeing now are mostly sellers dreaming of riding the wave which hit about 18 months ago. There are several troopies on cartrader which are priced similar to your average Porsche or Mercedes, but they have been for sale for a while.

Having said that, there are just not that many left down here.
